Actually sometimes ‘not’ getting sick can be a sign that the bodymind and immune system are so depleted that they don’t even have the energy to launch an immune system response.
As a result, the body’s best strategy might be to do nothing & instead wait until it does have the energy and resources to deal with the microbial pathogens, toxins, abnormal/compromised cells, etc.
Yet all the while the stress and strain of doing nothing gradually takes its toll.
Paradoxically, getting sick is ‘NOT’ an indication of poor health or a weak immune system.
The job of your immune system ‘IS’to create symptoms of being sick. The symptoms of being sick (eg. Inflammation, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, etc) are your immune system’s strategies for protection and keeping you safe. Getting sick actually indicates your immune system is working!
This is why sometimes after a BodyTalk session clients may get sick: their bodymind is in a healthier state of balance & finally has the energy and resources to deal with things it hasn’t been able (or willing) to deal with prior to their BodyTalk session.
