In western physiology I produce hormones that regulate the rest of the endocrine system and I serve as the interface between the nervous system and the endocrine system. I am therefore responsible for managing the internal communication and harmony within the bodymind. My ability to produce internal harmony affects our ability to see harmony in our lives.
I am also associated with the brow chakra which gives us insight and intuition (intuition represents good communication between the left and right brain). The drive to promote this communication comes from my feminine energy.
At its highest form, internal communication (intuition) is infused with inner creativity; this is the source of insight.
